Dhariyawad was founded in the middle of the 16th century by royal prince Sahasmal ( the second son of Maharana Pratap, the legendary hero of Mewar, Udaipur.) Situated on the confluences of the Jakham and Karmoi rivers, Dhariyawad is located in the south of Rajasthan and is surrounded by thick subtropical forests of the Aravali Hills.

The Fort of Dhariyawad has now been converted into an exclusive Heritage Hotel maintaining the décor, and traditional splendor of the fort. Fort Dhariyawad is located right in the middle of the city.

 

ROOMS & SUITES

The hotel has 12 rooms in total. All the rooms have a traditional Rajasthani ambiance. The rooms have Attached bathrooms and all modern amenities. Each room is equipped with a television and tea and a coffee maker.

4 exclusive Suits with a living room and  a bed room. The   bathroom of the suites are equipped with bath tubs.

These rooms have historical interiors and as far as possible.

 The old fittings and lights have retained to keep the heritage  look  alive.

A perfect sitting for the guest with two conversation grouping has been created. As far as possible old fittings, lights and furniture were retained.

Keeping in mind the historical interiors Antique items like hookah, canon & chandeliers has been decorated in the sitting room.

Suites have a traditional Rajasthani ambience and is provided with an attached bathroom and all modern amenities.

 

The Restaurant at Fort Dhariyawad can accommodate around 50 to 60 pax at once and serves both Indian and continental Cuisine.

 Breakfast and lunch are served at the restaurant Dinners are served in the open space near the lawns.
